The East's #3 seed Fishers College Vipers are 12-2 on the season, but have avenged both their losses in tournament re-matches at Ohio Catholic and Mount Washington. The Vipers are lead by Sophomore WR Joel Kinsey who has already caught 21 touchdown passes this year, 1.5 per game. The D-4 record however is 24, so to even tie the record he'll need a great game. He is also chasing the all-purpose touchdown record for WRs, which is 25. He currently has 24 though, almost securing himself the record, as he's thrown for a touchdown and ran for two out of Fishers' wildcat formation.
That said, the dynamic passing attack of the Vipers is countered with an even more potent offense for the #1 overall seeded Southern Louisiana Hurricanes. The Hurricanes ran the table and enter the title game with a 14-0 record. The Hurricanes average over 45 points a game on offense, and they're led by Jake Harwell who has thrown a record 67 touchdowns in 14 games.
Line: Southern Louisiana by 8.5
Taking all things into consideration here, the Hurricanes will continue on this hot streak and win their school's first National Championship.
USSN Prediction: Southern Louisiana 45, Fishers College 35
